How It Works
The IIX Impact Assessment (IA) is delivered by IIX’s Assessement team and occurs in tandem with the technical assistance provided by a vetted program technical assistance partner. It is fully subsidized for all Impact Enterprises (IEs) selected to participate in ACTS. The IA engagement starts with a series of phone calls and emails to understand IE’s business and needs. This is followed by a 2-3 day on-site visit from IIX staff, that works closely with IE’s team to establish or refine a framework of articulating and measuring impact.
When possible, IIX also interviews beneficiaries and key stakeholders to inform and validate the assumptions and rationale used in calculating and forecasting impact. After the field visit, the Assessment team works with the IE over 4-6 weeks to produce a summary report and a spreadsheet setting out the current and forecasted impact. IIX also provides advice and tools on what data to collect in order to track the impact going forward.
